Rveg: R package extension for writing and managing of vegetation relevés
Rveg is software for managing your databases of vegetation relevés. You can create your database in the R environment and later on analyze data in R or export for the phytosociological software JUICE.
Each species is assigned unique 7-letter shortname code (default species checklist of Danihelka, J., Chrtek Jr, J., & Kaplan, Z. (2012). Checklist of vascular plants of the Czech Republic. Preslia, 84(3), 647-811). These are then used to write the species into created databases.
Minimal requirement for the Rveg to work is to have installed the R software. It can be downloaded from here. The Rveg then can be installed by running functions install.packages(“Rveg”), require(Rveg). The package contain also detailed manual, and you can watch the video manuals below. Unfortunately at this moment, the package contains multiple new features and functions, which are not yet documented in any manual document, but there is brief updates page accessible with news(package = ‘Rveg’).
